
How COVID 19 created the extremely successful up front
The last several years Lemonhaze has become very well known nationally for providing networking opportunities for members of the industry at fun party like live events. In March of 2020 the COVID 19 pandemic forced the postponement of all live events. This was obviously a severe blow to all event companies, including Lemonhaze. The focus of Lemonhaze events shifted to what we could do for our customers virtually.
Through this the Lemonhaze Virtual Up Fronts were born. Generally speaking, a salesperson needs to contact a store purchaser or buyer in order to present their product, packaging, price point and other relevant information about their company. Because of Covid, meetings between brands and stores became almost impossible. Large convention-style events were tabled for the time being and we launched the Lemonhaze Up Fronts that spread across the country like wildfire, allowing buyers and salespeople to meet virtually in 20-minute rapid succession rotating one-on-one video sales meetings.
The Up-Fronts quickly became one of the most successful events ever offered by Lemonhaze. Joel Fritz, VP of national sales at Avitas said “We've been involved with many hosted B2B events from various organizations and I was a little nervous about participating in a virtual based event. Now that I've been through it, I'm most impressed! Well attend, well organized and well worth the money! I'd do it again for sure!"
We have now expanded the Up-Front concept to include facilitating meetings between executives from multi-state operators (MSO’s) to meet directly with local cultivators in multiple states for the purpose of establishing licensing agreements.
